Dream Log - Aug. 30, 2003

August 30, 2003

Again, one of these dreams that I have between 9 and 11 in the morning after I've woken up once and fallen back to sleep.

The first thing I can remember is going to a house that was in the Pringle's neighborhood but not a house I'd ever seen before. There were a whole lot of people there and they were going somewhere. Everyone was getting ready to leave and I couldn't find my shoes for the life of me. This is kinda strange seeing as I haven't worn shoes all summer... Anyway, they left and I'm franticly trying to keep up. Eventually I find my shoes and in the process, I find a wallet that looks like mine but isn't mine. I leave the house and as I'm leaving I see Tom going in. Tom asks what's going on because he's late (no suprise there) and I tell him to come with me but he just goes inside. The street is now empty from all the people's cars leaving (except for the one Tom got out of) and I see Rogie riding by on a bike. A two person bike might I add. Not a bike with the seats behind each other, this one had a wheel in the back and two wheels up front with two seats. First of all, how in the hell did Rogie get in my dream? Second of all, why did he throw me a flashlight? Anyway... he throws me a flashlight and I ask him for a ride to wherever we're all going. I have no clue where this is at the moment but I know where I'm going. It's a dream, deal with it. He says sure and then speeds down the street on his double-bike. I chase after him and he slows down and speeds up again so I can't get on the bike all the way past this little train crossing (which we didn't cross at all, we just went next to it). Now rogie is gone. I'm standing there watching the arms come down because a train is about to go past on the tracks. I wait and no train passes. A cop shows up and starts ushering cars through under the arms. Nextly, I start walking on a small wooden walkway next to the train tracks. What's the first thing that I see but three ninja turtles. Not four, but three. I have no clue where the other one is. I take a quick right and end up at where I think the other people went. No one is there but I take a ride on this ninja turtle slide. It's a kiddie ride, not real fun. I leave and head back to the street where I came from. The cop is still letting cars through under the protecting arms. I think about the fact that disaster could strike at any moment. Then I get an idea, I could go farther on the wooden walkway and not go in to the turtle ride and see if anyone is back there. I do, passing the turtles and yelling something that catches their attention on the way. There they are! All the people that I had been searching for are here. Some in a pool off to my right and others playing minigolf to my left. As I watch from the walkway, this annoying-looking little kid walks up to me and hands me a photo. It's a picture of Natalie under the green of one of the minigolf holes. This is where it's pretty strange. She was under the green but there was no way to tell if you didn't know. She just kindof materialized in there when you lifted up the green. The little kid says in a nasty voice something like 'We shoved your friend in to the 8th hole.' So I jump over the railing and pull Natalie from under the green of the 8th hole. As we're standing there on the 8th green talking about it, someone taps me on the bottom of my leg. I turn around, ready to smack the little kid who put her there and it turns out that Kat is sitting on the green asking if I can get off so she can play the 8th hole. And I thought how I really thought it was that little kid and I didn't really want to smack Kat at all. That was basicly it.

Really messed up, eh?
