Linkage

April 8, 2004

Two interesting things tonight. The first is a flash app that reflects news.google.com in a different way. Newsmap aggregates feeds from google's news aggregator (so it's an aggregatored site aggregator, right?) and displays them in a more visually pleasing way which isn't exactly more helpful (many of the smaller articles can't even be seen) but it looks really great. It might actually be helpful if focus followed the mouse or occured on a click rather than taking you right to the link. I love stuff like this. Perhaps I'll work off this idea...
The second thing is a site I've been visiting on and off over the past few weeks. Jay Allen's Daily Journey has some really great content and has thus made it to my links section. I'll be searching through some older articles later tonight and hopefully I'll find something I can post more indepth thoughts about.
