That was me leaving for a day or two. I mean, I was planning on redesigning because I didn't like the fit of my design to what I wanted to put on it. Yes, I'm picky. I've gone through too many designs since the start of this blog. Now I'm working on another design but I can't quite get it right and I didn't know when I would get it right so I'm back to blogging on this... this default template. Unheard of, right?
It's always been difficult for me to settle on a design that's right for my blog. I don't know why I thought it would be easier now and I really shouldn't have taken the old blog down until I had a vague idea of what I was doing but it's down and sitting in an undisclosed location while I decide what I'm going to do with the old entries.

The worst part of it all is that I know why my designs aren't coming together and I really can't do much to change it right now. Even when I was back at school and hated where I was, I was doing things and I could pick inspiration from even the smallest items that gave me hope of leaving. I'm waiting for a job response and many of my friends are away and I don't have a real easy way to get from place to place so I'm stuck here. I know the layout and the landscape and they provide me with no inspiration.
I'd like to think that I can eventually settle in a place that can constantly interest me and make me look even at familiar objects with a different twist. I've spent 20 years in the Philadelphia area and it's almost time to move on.

seeing this made me think of http://www.movablestyle.com/index.php?style=TypePad_Thin_mt2
Readers can select from multiple styles. I think it is cool to see the site change so much so easily.

I was thinking about creating a basic html template that I could change simply by modifying the stylesheet similar to movablestyle or the css zen garden. We'll see how difficult it is...
