New Cell Number

I got a new cell number today and my old one *does not* forward to the new one. I asked the guy at the counter if I could get the old number forwarded to the new one and he said "Maybe" and then started doing something else. That's customer service.
I will continue to attempt to get the old number to forward for at least a month or two. In the meantime, find me online if you're calling my old number and it's giving you a busy signal.
I can't be too angry at Cingular though. It looks as though the switch has given me the ability to send photos again (although the mms server will be down "for ten hours" as of 12.30pm) and Maybe Guy talked the guy on the phone that was actually doing the work from charging me anything extra and to let me keep my rollover minutes. I definitely think that I should have gotten both of those anyway (and my picture-sending service should never have broken in the first place) but I still give very small kudos to them for the fact that it went well.
