Looking back on the year 2005 from thirty or fourty years in the future, I think one of the biggest shockers will be how we were still willing to use pressurized semi-potable water to wash the sidewalks outside of our houses, businesses, etc.

Then again, maybe we'll always have an abundance of water.

you mean they didn't have seperate water taps for using the reclaimed graywater from the building?

(this is one of the design features of the Mission Creek Senior Community, along with generating much of it's own power energy efficient appliances, currently being built in Mission Bay right next to the Fourth Street Bridge)
