Webzine 2005

September 24, 2005

I went to the esseffist pre-Webzine 2005 party at Cafe Du Nord last night which was fun. I got a ride with Krissy after work and I would have liked to hang out a bit more but she was busy making sure everything was going as it's supposed to. I need to know less people that plan parties and more people that just go to them. Erm... on second thought, perhaps not. People that plan parties are much more interesting. I did, however, make the best of the situation and played a round of pool with a dude from Feedster and met Andy Smith who played a role in planning the recent Bar Camp, among others. Matt from work returned from setting up the wireless on the roof about halfway through the party so we hung out a bit as well. I would have liked another round of pool but it was a busy night :( I'm most impressed with myself considering how poorly I usually do in large groups of people that I don't know.

The point of this all is that Six Apart will have a (table|bench|chair|small circle of tape) at Webzine today and tomorrow and I urge people to stop by! I'll be there with my 6A shirt tomorrow (Sunday) sometime around 2PM.

Random frustrations about the robotics if you're interested.

Also, hairscut!
