Hi there,

The content on this blog is all archival, it's no longer active and you won't be able to post comments or trackbacks. If you're looking for active content from the same source, you should check out Nick's Vox blog.

August and Everything After

August 28, 2004

First of all, thanks to everyone who posted their kind words for the previous post. I've made some small changes based on comments I've received on and off the blog and I'm working on even more additions in the coming weeks. I added the World Three stylesheet mid-week after declaring "World Three is utterly BORING" and nothing special comes with advancing in to World Four either. I'm fairly confident that Five, Six, Seven and Eight will be fairly interesting though. I have to decide which world I want to use as the depiction of a Castle and I may choose one of the later worlds with an interesting Castle or maybe even just replace 3 or 4 with a castle because their content is so boring in general.

FeedDemon is quiet tonight as is usually the case. I should be posting more with all the time I have on my hands but I can only seem to come up with a nervous twitch and then I drift off to wondering where I'll be in the next few weeks. I have, however, been able to sit down for enough time to work on MTStats for a while and I've been adding some interesting features. Picking out things I wish I could do with it when I check it is one of my more motivating terms to work on it and I hope to include some more people in the development process at some point in time.

It's kinda hard to keep myself feeling positive when a lot of my friends have left for school again and I'm still waiting for word about what I'll be doing this year. I'll mark this as the fourth time I've left the same person I really care about for a long period of time and, I've said it before, it's never any easier. Concentrating on other things gets easier with some time but time moves ever-so-slowly before you really get control back. Unfortunately, everyone is moving very fast back at school and it leaves me with a lot of time to think which is always a dangerous situation for me :) With any luck, I'll get some good news soon and I'll really be starting my life. Lucky for me, I still have a few really good friends at home that might volunteer to keep me sane.

Excuse the blatant album title rip for the title of this post, it's one of those days that you just have to listen to Counting Crows. Admit it, many of you understand that feeling...

Comments

no, sorry, never listened to Counting Crows much. But American Analog Set can help! As can chattin' with old friends and visiting the Big Apple whenever you get a chance.
