In stark contrast to recent times, I've got the creativity and motivation to work on some really neat projects and I'm making time to get out and have some fun. Even more, I'm actually tired enough to sleep at night which is something new and different for me.

When I dropped the old design in anticipation of something new and different, I actually created a new blog and swore that I'd import some of the old entries that I wanted to keep. It took me an entire afternoon to sort through 400 entries but I narrowed them down to ~115 that I wanted to keep and since then I've been hesitant to post when I don't feel like, upon looking back months or years later, I'd want to keep it. Momentary information takes up a lot of space for me (like 3/4 of my year-past entries) and it ranges from absolutely no momentary information to 100% momentary information on other blogs. Defining momentary information is a necessary step, I suppose, and it's more complicated than your interest as the author months or years after it's been posted. I try to not only gauge my interest in advance but google-search interest in advance. If someone searched for terms related to this and found this page, would they get any useful information?

In a way, I think momentary information is great thing. Little bits and pieces of recent news can be useful and interesting. I, however, don't want them archived. Archiving information on the vast majority of blogs should not be automatic and all-including. I want to be able to choose which posts I want archived and which posts I want to exist for a month or less. Perhaps that can be my next plugin project.

Some momentary information: MTStats is getting more and more interesting but I have a feeling it's going to take a backseat to some new design I'm working on (this is still an interim design, remember?) and some other really neat 'projects.'
